Hello, Darlings! It is unbelievable but it has actually been quite cold in Los Angeles. It has been raining on and off for 2 weeks straight. To be honest, it has been a pleasant change in comparison to the blazing heat. You can cozy up at home with a book and hot chocolate, Netflix and blankets.

Now, off to how to dress in this weather. For someone like me who loathes winter, the struggle to look fabulous while staying warm can pose a serious challenge. However, it’s not impossible. I know, it seems counter-intuitive but you still want fluid mobility because feeling comfortable would be the only way you can look stylish.
There’ll always be something undeniably sophisticated about a monochromatic outfit especially in a rich color such as green.
That’s why I opted for an oversized sweater and a pleated midi skirt. I know most of you are thinking the monochromatic look is no longer in style. Haaa. wrong! A monochromatic look still works as long as its offset by another color. To be honest, when it’s this cold, the last thing I am thinking about is matching my colors, which is why a monochromatic outfit is my go-to. There’ll always be something undeniably sophisticated about a monochromatic outfit especially in a rich color such as green. I call it my grab and go look. Solves all mine and your fashion problems in one.
Finishing the outfit off with this H&M grey coat was a no-brainer. The two colors just mix impeccably well together. Grey simply adds a polishing touch to any outfit.
