The Four Best Setting Powders for Oily Skin!

Your makeup is about to be locked and loaded!

Hello, Darlings! If you've ever been hit with a pot of grease like I have my whole life, it's time to start using a setting powder. I always joke that you can fry a plantain on my face. With suggestions from professionals, here are the latest, best setting powders for oily skin:

This powder is my holy grail! I am obsessed with it. I dropped one once and literally cried. This powder gives my skin an airbrushed appearance. It is perfect to use under my eyes and other areas that I have applied concealer to highlight. It doesn’t leave me cakey. I use the color dark. It’s truly the best powder on the market, in my opinion. It’s also light enough to travel with. It is simply fabulous. The only unfortunate thing is that there aren’t many shades.

I use this particular powder to set the entirety of my face. Truly an AMAZING product! It keeps my oily face matte throughout the day and I can use it as touch-ups and still does not make my foundation look cakey like many other powders.

This has SPF! What more could you ask for? This product is translucent and it is for all skin tones and types. I apply it liberally on my face and neck to control my oil and somehow it gives me a pore-less look. I do have to say it is kind of sparkly and if applied too intensely, it can sort of look like a highlighter. So, I suggest you dust it lightly, polish it on and go!

This on is for all you Mac’s studio fix powder fans: This is pretty much the exact same powder, but without all the acne-causing ingredients. It blends beautifully on my oily skin and provides impeccable coverage for us dark skin girls. I apply this with a damp beauty blender, giving me almost full coverage and a soft filter, almost like I applied a liquid foundation before setting. It is simply beautiful!

So, for all of us with the world’s oiliest skin, I feel your pain! I hope you try one of these powders. Once again, have a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!
