How to Wear Sneakers at Any Age with Adidas / Streetstyle Edition.

"When it comes to sneakers, these days I choose to wear them with outfits that are more elevated, as opposed to the jeans-and-a-tee look I used to rely on in my tomboy days in college."

Hello Everyone! Hopefully, the year has been treating you well thus far. Let’s dive right into it. Can you wear sneakers past the age of 30? The answer is Yes, yes you can but “how” is the main question. The irony of this post isn’t lost on me at all since I was a tomboy in college and only wore sneakers (back then only with jeans). I went another 10 years without ever touching a pair of sneakers again. However, with my Adidas family, somehow sneakers have infiltrated my closet and I’m not minding at all.

When it comes to sneakers, these days I choose to wear them with outfits that are more elevated, as opposed to the jeans-and-a-tee look I used to rely on in my tomboy days in college.

The key to making grey Adidas sneakers like this one work and age appropriate is to make them a statement…something to show off.

"...Comfort really is the name of the game and what better way to be stylish than to rock an elevated sneaker look?"

The best way to do that, in my opinion, is to make sure they are seen, so your pants need to fall right above your ankle bone. You can cuff them as I did here, hem them or cut them. Whatever you please to make them the perfect length. Also, don’t wear socks or if you do decide to wear socks, please don’t let them show.

Especially with this unexpected cold winter, we are experiencing in Los Angeles, I say, comfort really is the name of the game and what better way to be stylish than to rock an elevated sneaker look?

Hope you enjoy this post. You can purchase these grey Adidas sneakers here. May 2019 be the year full of endless love and joy for you and your loved ones. Stay Fabulous!
