Happy New Year!




Happy New Year!!! 

This is just a quick post to say welcome to the relaunch of SpecsandBlazers and Happy New Year. I spent the last half of December in the hospital after catching malaria and pneumonia in Nigeria. It was scary, it was awful but you all know I am a fighter and I’m going to live till I am 150 years old.

My best friend and I decided to have a little fun and he styled me in this Lena Hoschek dress which feels just as good as it looks. What I love about a robe dress is that you get the same cozy effect as wearing a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie, but robes look so much more sophisticated.

So, what are your goals this year? Personally, I don’t believe in making new year resolutions anymore… I’ll just go ahead and do what I want to do, set short-term goals and draw a vision board. I find vision boards motivating because I get to look forward to ripping a post-it off the wall when I complete something.
