Good Afternoon, Everyone! Hope you’re enjoying your week. As you might already know, my staple pieces are a fitted blazer and boyfriend jeans. You can never have too many of them. I love the way boyfriend jeans fits, the comfort, the room to breathe especially since its quite hot. I’m wearing a forever21 blazer & boyfriend jeans, American Apparel grey t-shirt and pearl necklace from EdenSky. These pictures were taken on rodeo drive. I had a great time playing tourist on rodeo and pretending I own all the expensive cars. I just want to remind you guys to always surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers, and the thinkers, but most of all surround yourself with those who see greatness within you, even when you don’t see it within yourself. Stay Thirsty my friends.. Stay thirsty..
Hi guys, I just wanted to share this very simple look with you that I’m wearing to the Ladygunn Magazine #9 Launch Party. Although, I no longer work for American Apparel it seems my whole closet is still full of AA clothing. As awful and unprofessional the company is, I must say I’ll always love the clothes. It’s simple, affordable and (albeit, poorly executed) the motto “made in Los Angeles” creates jobs for plethora of people in the city. I’m wearing their Swim top with ponte skirt finished off with pointy leopard heels from LolaShoetique. On a completely different topic: Everyone please pay attention to what’s going on in Gaza.. Its heartbreaking and unjust. It’s not enough to be compassionate, we must act. Be aware and get involve. Petition, spread knowledge and ask our government to intervene. Lets continue to pray for the people of Gaza.
Happy Saturday guys.. Whilst every other blogger is at Swim Week, Im stuck in Los Angeles. Not to worry I’ll be in New York soon for fashion week. I’m super excited. In any rate, I’ve had this H&M floral dress sitting in my closet for over 6 months and I finally had an opportunity to wear it this weekend. LA Travel magazine had their Summer Issue Launch Party at the W Hollywood! LA Travel Magazine is a must-read for anyone looking for luxury travel destinations in Southern California and across the globe. The magazine is filled with endless pages of beautiful places to visit, eat and explore!
First, I want to thank you guys for following me and checking out my blog. I truly appreciate it. I cannot believe its almost August! This year thus far has been such a roller coaster. I’m finally learning how to ride the waves of living in Los Angeles. This city would chew you up and then spit you out but my God, where else would I rather live? Perhaps one day in Europe (with the man of my dreams, but I digress) but for now this is home. Learning to enjoy the good, the bad and the ugly. I’m learning to compartmentalize my emotions. I’m a sagittarius, as you can imagine this is quite difficult. As an adult, I’m teaching myself how to deal with different emotions as they come, I’m learning to acknowledge them, own them and toss them aside, because I choose to live a life of quality.
So, my best friend Yonni bought a new Vespa and I think I’m more obsess with it than he is. I nagged long enough and he let me borrowed it, so I decided to take it to Rodeo drive and do an impromptu photo shoot. Needless to say, the security people over there are a pain in the ass. They didn’t allow photography but Tatsu is just that awesome, we still got these few amazing shots! I’m wearing American Apparel Sports bra layered with my good friend Phlobymariah fishnet top, American Apparel easy Jeans and my Missguided platform heels (Ive decided Im going to wear them for the rest of my life. Dont try to convince me otherwise).

PS: I really dont know what to do with my life now that the world Cup is over. I need a new hobby. Any ideas?
My signature hair style unfailingly every summer is box braids. I love them! They are quite stylish and easy to maintain. Frankly, when it comes to hair, I’m the laziest girl in the world, sometimes I just want to be bald. Ok, I went off tangent like usual.. Pardon me, I’ll keep this post short. I’m wearing American Apparel top and skirt and platform heels from misguided (Must be my new favorite online store)

It’s not who you’re wearing, it’s how you wear it. I’m a strong believer in acting your wage. My lovely father, (the most brilliant man that I know) always say to me “cut your coat according to your cloth.” I’m proud that I shop cheaply and I thrift because I am saving for something greater than me. A legacy. A future. I believe that discipline is choosing between what you want and what you need and learning that there is a greater joy in meticulously creating the life you desire. One day I’ll be able to buy louboutins and YSLs until then I can make it work with the little that I have and still make it look fabulous. I am wearing American Apparel off the shoulder crop top. Eden Sky’s skirt and Forever 21 Suede shoes. My lovely friend temi braided my hair (If you are in Los Angeles hit her up).
Hey guys! This is such a quick late post on an outfit I wore couple weeks back. I’m a sucker for matching sets and colors.. I also have a new obsession with Jacaranda tress, they are everywhere in LA! Hope you guys are enjoying the WORLD CUP as much as I am. I am glued to ESPN, its so exciting.. Go, NIGERIA, GO!!!!!! (Hey, I can always hope)…
